Goals

Track quarterly priorities and link them to your evidence.

What are Goals?
A lightweight way to track what matters most each quarter

Goals in PromoReady are designed to be simple and focused. Unlike complex OKR tools with nested key results and progress percentages, Goals here are straightforward priorities you want to accomplish.

  • Track quarterly priorities - Set goals for Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, or longer periods like H1/H2 or annual
  • Link to evidence - Connect your tracked accomplishments to show what's supporting each goal
  • Simple status tracking - Not started, in progress, completed, or blocked

3

Linking Evidence to Goals
Connect your accomplishments to show what's supporting each goal

One of the most powerful features of Goals is linking evidence. This creates a clear connection between your quarterly priorities and the work you've actually done.

1

Open the goal menu

Click the three-dot menu on any goal and select "Link Evidence".

2

Select evidence items

Browse your tracked evidence and check the items that support this goal.

3

View linked evidence

Linked evidence appears on the goal card, showing up to 3 items with a "+X more" indicator if there are additional links.

Why Link Evidence to Goals?

Linking evidence to goals helps you in several ways:

  • Show progress: Demonstrate concrete work supporting each priority
  • 1:1 preparation: Quickly show your manager what you've accomplished toward your goals
  • Review writing: When generating self-reviews, you'll have a clear record of goal-aligned work
Filtering and Organizing
Focus on what matters with filters

Use the filter dropdowns at the top of the Goals page to focus on specific time periods or statuses:

  • YearFilter by year to see goals from a specific year
  • PeriodFilter by Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, H1, H2, or Annual
  • StatusFilter by not started, in progress, completed, or blocked

The stats card at the top shows a summary of your goals: total count, completed, in progress, and blocked.
